This book started out great, despite repeatedly switching between the first-person narrative of the hero and heroine, and having been written in the present tense (which I equal with faux literature.) I liked the set up, immensely enjoyed the self-confident yet vulnerable heroine and the fresh, modern voice of Georgia Cates. There are some lovely sex scenes in the book, however, nothing extreme, I would rather compare them to spicy Blaze novels which probably are considered tame nowadays LOL.
The middle part was a bit lacking in strength, maybe some more adventurous sex scenes or angsty plot moments could have influenced my personal reading experience.
This is the first part of the mini-series which ends in the separation of the couple but no cliffhanger, thank heaven for that! My grade: B-
