Usually, I avoid romances with a music subplot at all costs. I don't find a rock musician hero or actress heroine attractive, at all. Somehow this book nevertheless landed on my radar and turned out quite a nice read. If you are NOT looking for an emotional roller coaster ride, but a nice and sweet romance without any big and angsty moments set in a nice and cosy small town, this book is probably a good choice. Personally, I could have wished for a better ending, not that it wasn't satisfying but it was rather an anticlimax, especially considering the hero and heroine's past. While in real life it's nice to have smooth relationships, in a romance novel it can come over a little boring. C+
